Subject: Character Retirement
Starting now, players that wish to retire their PC's will be allowed to do so and recieve a reward to a future PC build of 1/2 their retired characters XP (at a max of 15000). Please check the Egroup for more information.

Subject: ROLLING HP
Effective immediately, Players will be permitted to roll their own HP for leveling their characters. However: Players should wait until a DM informs them they are ready to witness the roll. The proper format is to place your Character name in the name field on the roller, and write your level type (Fighter, Wizard, Cleric etc.) and the observing DM's name in the action field.
If players would prefer for the DM to roll for them, they may elect to have such done, however only one roll will be accepted. In the event a player requests a DM rolls, then rolls themselves, the lowest result will always be taken. Players may still elect to take 1/2 HP.

Subject: THE REBIRTH OF HOUSE RUGALOF
During an open meeting with citizens of Doltanbran held on June 10th 328 AF, The Council of Four was shocked when a man entered the hall with Sir Stilgmar Garthen at his side and claimed Lordship over House Rugalof, along with a new province south of Mieden and West of the Bogen River. Normally such things would be dismissed as jest, but several members of the Council clearly recognized the Son of Lord Oleg Rugalof who had been believed dead. When he left the Council Palace that evening, Lord Anton Rugalof had reclaimed his families place in the Nobility of the City, though to rebuild the former power they had would take much time and patience.
OOC: Players should be aware that Rugalof PC's still require a detailed background to be submitted to the Head DM in order to be sanctioned for play.

Subject: PERMITTED CLASSES
The following is a list of playable classes on Dol-Terias. The DM team requests that anyone who wishes to play a class which is not from the core PHB please own whatever book required. Additionally, please note that the Swashbuckler class has been moved from the standard list to a restricted class.
The unrestricted classes are: Adept, Aristocrat, Barbarian, Bard, Beguiler, Cleric, Commoner, Druid, Duskblade (Elf or Half-Elf only), Expert, Fighter, Monk, Paladin, Ranger, Rogue, Sorcerer, Warrior, Wizard
And the following classes have restricted slots and/or require backgrounds submitted to play:
Swashbuckler, Hexblade, Psion, Psychic Warrior, Soulknife, Wilder, Warlock
Additional information on the number of slots available for each class will be posted here shortly
